The last 5 years have flown by!

Shalom Retreat & Training Center is the home of Christian Health Service Corps, a Texas based 501 c 3 non-profit ministry!  Who is the Christian Health Service Corps? We are a missionary service corps comprised of doctors and health professionals bringing healthcare to the world’s poor. Allowing us to host your event or retreat is helping change and save lives of children and young mothers around the world.  When the center is available we may be hosting missionaries from around the globe; hosting mission training courses; hosting church training events.

You may on occasion even find a missionary surgeon or physician with a heart to serve clearing your table after dinner or helping us the kitchen.  By visiting Shalom Retreat & Training Center you become part of our team dedicated to healing the sick, alleviating suffering, comforting the afflicted, and restoring the outcasts in remote communities around the world.  The Christian Health Service Corps has missionary doctors and healthcare professionals in growing list of countries to include: DR Congo, Kenya, Ghana, Zambia, Ethiopia, Uganda,  Honduras,  Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, Malawi, just to name a few.
